About this study
Researchers are testing if auriculotherapy, a treatment involving nerve stimulation of the ear, can reduce the need for opioid pain medication after surgery. The trial will involve adults undergoing abdominal or pelvic surgery and randomly assigning them to either receive the auriculotherapy device (NSS-2 BRIDGE) or a placebo device.
