About this study
Researchers are testing whether focused extracorporeal shockwave therapy can help with knee pain and function in people with knee arthritis. This treatment uses sound waves to try to improve the condition of bone marrow lesions (BMLs) in the knee, which are linked to pain and other problems. The trial will compare this treatment to standard care, such as pain relievers and protected weight-bearing.
Based on ClinicalTrials.gov records.
