About this study

Researchers are testing whether LGBTQ-affirmative individual cognitive behavioral psychotherapy (CBT) and LGBTQ-affirmative family therapy (ABFT-SGM) delivered via telehealth can help sexual and gender minority adults with nonaccepting parents reduce symptoms of depression and anxiety. The trial will also examine how these treatments affect mental health by addressing issues like rejection sensitivity and internalized stigma.

Based on ClinicalTrials.gov records.
