About this study

Researchers are testing whether a behavioral intervention called the 5-Step Method can be introduced in the United States for family members affected by a relative's substance use disorder. The trial will involve 36 participants, with half receiving the 5-Step Method and half not receiving any specific treatment from the research team but being allowed to use existing programs like Al-Anon or Nar-Anon.
