About this study

This trial is testing whether acupuncture can help manage pain in people with sickle cell disease and how it affects the brain. Acupuncture involves inserting needles into specific points on the body to relieve pain. Participants will receive either traditional or laser acupuncture for a set number of sessions over several months.
